Team Calibrate

Team Calibrate is a cutting-edge web tool that simplifies and standardizes the promotion process for startups and small to medium-sized companies. The project was conceived in response to the realization that many organizations still use outdated, inefficient methods of managing employee promotions, such as manual paperwork, which is labor-intensive and prone to errors. The lack of standardized promotion packets leads to confusion, unfairness, and limited tracking of employee progress over time, making it challenging to compare candidates.

Team Calibrate addresses these issues by offering managers and VPs an automated and comprehensive overview of their team’s performance, including factors such as team size growth, revenue, and business impact, individual employee performance metrics, completed tasks, reviews from managers, times promoted, and even a comparison of promotional candidates in the same role. By standardizing the promotion process, Team Calibrate simplifies the workflow for all managers, providing a common flow that involves sorting employees by their performance/potential correlation, filling out a promotion review for candidates, nominating several candidates from each team, and voting during the calibration meeting.

The tool enables all information about promotion candidates to be collected and shared in one place, such as reviews from managers, generated graphs and charts, and other relevant data, streamlining the voting process. Additionally, Team Calibrate divides employees’ and managers’ promotion processes, providing customized charts and graphs about performance and progress tailored to specific needs. By eliminating manual work, standardizing the promotion process, and streamlining the voting process, Team Calibrate delivers a more comfortable, efficient, and fair promotion experience for all involved.
